CEHCO builds many unregulated Transformer/Rectifier assemblies. One such assembly is shown below. The 3 PH input is stepped down to 188 VAC L-L, to provide 250 VDC rectified output after the six diode assembly. Each diode is rated for 400 Amp and 1200 volts blocking voltage.
An Auto-Transformer is used instead of an Isolation Transformer to minimize the cost. The block diagram of the unregulated transformer/rectifier assembly is shown below:
The photo of the unregulated transformer/rectifier assembly, part number 18529PS is shown below:
Specifications:
- Unregulated Transformer/Rectifier assembly P/N 18529PS
- Input 240 VAC, 3 PH, 60 Hz
- Unregulated output 250 VDC, 300 Amp max
- Indoor enclosure, 36”H x 28”W x 18”D
- Input disconnect switch allows power ON/OFF
- Voltmeter and Ammeter monitors output power
- When power is turned on 2 fans turn on to force cool the rectifier assembly.
- Input/output breaker or input fuse protection are not included.
- An Auto Transformer is used instead of an Isolation Transformer to minimize the cost
