Unregulated Transformer/Rectifier Assembly, 250 VDC, 300 AMP Output

Product Overview

CEHCO builds many unregulated Transformer/Rectifier assemblies. One such assembly is shown below. The 3 PH input is stepped down to 188 VAC L-L, to provide 250 VDC rectified output after the six diode assembly. Each diode is rated for 400 Amp and 1200 volts blocking voltage.


An Auto-Transformer is used instead of an Isolation Transformer to minimize the cost. The block diagram of the unregulated transformer/rectifier assembly is shown below:

  • Input disconnect switch allows power ON/OFF 
  • Voltmeter and Ammeter monitors output power 
  • When power is turned on 2 fans turn on to force cool the rectifier assembly. 
  • Input/output breaker or input fuse protection are not included.
